Can’t get no satisfaction? It’s been true all through history even before The Rolling Stones created their song. But the problem is in us. It’s the dopamine molecule in our bodies that makes us chase after solutions that we think will satisfy. We are all dopamine chasers at heart. Our only freedom from this addiction is dying to ourselves. Claim the promise of your baptism where your old self drowned. You were buried with Christ. And your new self was raised up to walk with Jesus in newness of life (Romans 6:3-4). Now discover the satisfaction only God can give.
