When the word became flesh and lived among us and we beheld His glory, the word did not come in on a war horse but instead through a woman’s body. The creator of all things has a normal arrival into the works like any other child going through a mother’s womb. This is how God is glorified. Through natural childbirth. Then he lives among us is the most accessible way. He’s a camper. He tents where we tent. He meets us in the most real way. When he says “I am the way” He wants us to know He is all about being real. Let Jesus camp with you and help you get real.
In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise.
Psalm 56:10
And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth.
John 1:14
Living Father, in your great love, you sent your Son to dwell among us. Through his humanity, your glory was revealed, and I can now know you more fully. Thank you for walking with me and gazing at me with compassion. May I always feel your comfort and offer you praise! Amen.
