(Awaken) Preparing Ourselves (Jeremiah 4:3; Luke 9:62) (Guidance)

Our Awaken team members share insights into the word for today and give us words about what the future holds for them. We have been blessed by these five young people (from left to right) Alexa, Alex, Zoe, Jayden, and Noah. Their leader and founder of The Awaken Project is Steven (in the center) whose words we have heard along with theirs during these past several months. Steven is turning the ministry over to Trevor who is sitting next to him in the photo. Trevor will be leading the ministry as he seeks new young people to share the excitement of following Jesus as members of The Awaken Project. As you pray for the next steps for our faithful friends leaving Awaken (and Mount Carmel), pray for those Trevor will be seeking to join him in the adventure of following our Lord to awaken their faith.

Prayer

Alpha and Omega, you know when and where to plant. Your kingdom is forever moving forward in time. This fulfills the prophecy that all things will be made new. Forgive me for holding onto the past and fearing the future. Make me fit to be one of your workers and to bring forth your kingdom. Amen.
