(Irishcast) The Lord, The Builder Of All Things (Isa 44v24 Hebrews 3v4) (Sovereignty)

Today’s texts reveal the power of biblical study. In Isaiah, God is declaring what He does for us as our Creator. Then in Hebrews we have a statement of the magnitude of God’s creative impact as the One who builds all things. God in the first person announces what He has done. And then God is described in the third person as the one who for does everything. Yesterday we were encouraged to give testimonies for what God has done in our lives. Today, God tells us what He has done. But you and I get to proclaim this power to anyone who will listen to us. Pray for someone today who might be receptive to what you have to say about how God has formed you, made all that you have, stretched you out to see more of that life can be for you and spread out the world as a place for you to love as God so loved the world.

New Testament Verse

For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.
Hebrews 3:4

Prayer

Lord, you are the maker and builder of all things. I am your work of grace, a new creation in Christ, whose atoning sacrifice on the cross saves me from my sins. As your redeemed child, grant me the grace to live with gratitude and thankfulness for all that you have done for me. Amen.
