Jeff reflects on God’s wisdom and goodness and power in light of daily, missional living among the newly arrived immigrant, using Jim Eliot’s (missionary to the Waodani people of Ecuador) journal entry, “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” The blessings that we have received in Christ enable and empower us to live generous lives for the sake of the gospel, because we entrust our lives to the One who is able to keep them.
