Jesus declares to you, “I chose you.” Then he states, “Go!” Our assurance is that we are sent by God to do God’s will. And it is up to the Lord to make what we do a success. Our trust is that God will make us accomplish what He wants us to do. Trust His promise. God called you. God equipped you. God will guide you. You will fulfill the task that our Lord has given you to fulfill. The verse from John 15:16 declares this to you. (John 15:16) “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”
Do not delay me, since the Lord has made my journey successful.
Genesis 24:56
Jesus said, "Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you, but if I go, I will send him to you."
John 16:7
Dear Jesus, you are with me on my journey of life. Whether at home or away, I desire to please you and walk alongside you. Thank you for sending the Advocate to guide and direct me. I know you will never leave me nor forsake me, but when I fall into faithlessness, remind me of your promises. Amen.
