The meek shall obtain fresh joy in the Lord, and the neediest people shall exult in the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 29:19
For you know the generous act of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty you might become rich.
2 Corinthians 8:9
Thank you, Lord, for becoming poor for my sake. You gave up all your riches for me. Forgive me for being unwilling to share the bounty of your goodness. Help me to let go of control. Help me to want others experience what I have received from you. Amen.
