(Irishcast) From Death To Life (Ps 116v8; Luke 8v43,44)

In the ancient town of Magdala (just north of Tiberius on the Sea of Galilee) recent archeological discoveries have revealed the ruins of this ancient town. The Roman Catholic Church has created a retreat center next to the archeological site. In the lower level of one of their main buildings, is the Encounter Chapel. The Encounter painting pictured above by Daniel Cariola is a portion of the huge mural that portrays today’s text from Luke. The painting is dedicated to Jesus’ encounter for all of us, whatever our needs may be, that we could touch Him. Prayer

Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see my need for Jesus and draw me into his presence. Forgive me, Lord, for turning to everything and everyone else for help. I need to lay out my problems and issues before you. By your power, stop the bleeding of my own self-sufficiency and help me to point others to you. Amen.
