What do the heavens tell you about the glory of God? God is very big. We are in the Milky Way Galaxy but read what I found online about how many varieties of Milky Ways there are. “There are an estimated 100 billion galaxies in all of the observable universe. On the order of 100,000 galaxies make up the Local Supercluster, and about 51 galaxies are in the Local Group.” 100 billion Milky Ways. Our Milky Way is in the local group of 51. The picture shows you three other galaxies that are really close to us. Funny names. Cigar, Pinwheel and Sombrero. But the real question for each of us is, “why has the creator of all these galaxies created me? And why was it necessary for God to send His only son Jesus to die for me?”
The heavens are telling the glory of God.
Psalm 19:1
Glorify God in your body.
1 Corinthians 6:20
Glorious God, your majesty is manifest in the wonder of creation. I am sorry for the ways I fail to honor your grace. Forgive me, Lord, and use my life to bear witness to your goodness. As the stars in the sky testify to your glory, let my mouth tell of your love as my hands do your work. Amen.
