The text reveals the reason that Mount Carmel was created in 1938 to be a space set apart where people would come to study the Bible and to worship the Lord. Because the leaders at Mount Carmel would “hold forth the word of life” the people who came here experienced the daily transformation that comes when you are a part of a Christian community and Jesus is lifted up.
