His dominion shall be from sea to sea, and to the ends of the earth.
Zechariah 9:10
God gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
Philippians 2:9-10
Almighty God, glorious King, thank you for the sure promise that your rule will be recognized in this world. I confess that I often think I am the ruler of my life, the sovereign of this domain. Give me grace to take the posture of humility in your presence, and teach me to be the servant of all. Amen.
